Who doesn’t eat food? A necessity, right? Although they can be disliked at times, people from all over the world are always trying to present a new serving at the table—a heritage that’s followed from the beginning of times.
Different countries introduce a new dish with a hint of their culture, but only some just stick to our taste buds forever.
Do You Have a Sweet Tooth?

America has gifted the world with some of the best pies to end its meal courses with a taste of sweetness on the tongue. The Sugar Cream Pie from Indiana was brought to feast on when one runs out of apples. Filled with vanilla cream along with brown sugar powdered on top, it offers a fluffy texture to play with your buds.
If apples are actually in season, you can try the famous Fried Apple Pie from Alabama that has flavors of nutmeg, cinnamon, sugar, and cornstarch in each bite.

Certain people enjoy having the unusual like Cold Lobster Rolls topped with chives from Maine. If you’re from Maryland and have a birthday coming up, then you’ll be fortunate enough to be able to order Crab Cakes instead of chocolate ones. A hamburger-sized crab covered in breadcrumbs – now that’s appetizing!
Speaking of cakes, Tennessee is considerate enough to serve multilayered Mountain Stack Cakes with apple filling. Often ordered at weddings, it’s not something that a faint-hearted can bake. The chilling process alone requires a whopping 24 hours.
Moving on to the Main Course

One can’t forget pizzas while talking about food, especially if it’s a whole dish. Found in Illinois, Deep-Dish Pizzas feature a flat crust with reversed toppings – cheese comes before sauce! It looks like a cake that has cheese on the bottom following meat and vegetables. If a whole box of regular pizza can’t fill your stomach, this surely will.
A weird combination would be Maple Syrup on Snow, something only New Hampshire can develop. You can, of course, make it at home, but it would taste nothing like Hampshire’s apples or snow.
If you’re sleeping in New Mexico, you should run out to find Hatch Green Chile. Sizzling with hot spices, these fire-roasted peppers can surely be your wake-up call.
A wake-up call can be in the form of your health as well, so get up and have a Cobb Salad. Who says tomatoes, lettuce, and avocados can’t improve your blood levels, especially if you are willing to visit California to have it?
